Alexander James, Principal
Alexander has almost two decades of experience in the education and nonprofit worlds and has dedicated his professional life to expanding opportunity for young people. He has taught tenth grade English, implemented and evaluated college-success mentoring programs, and launched national partnerships between nonprofits. As founder and principal of TestPilot Consulting, he supports nonprofits and educational institutions to achieve their goals.
Alexander’s strengths lie in his rich, varied expertise across organizations and roles. He is a direct communicator who values developing genuine human connections. He is a problem-solver, and brings passion and innovation to any task.
When not supporting students, teachers, and nonprofits (or his two energetic children), Alexander spends his time playing, listening to, and obsessively discussing music.
